Plan for Success
Planting a garden can be done in many ways, but the most successful gardens I’ve grown, or helped grow, were well-planned. Here’s some of my tips:
Know your garden zone, especially the frost dates.
Choose seed varieties well adapted for your area and the season.
Figure out your planting dates based by comparing the number of days to harvest with frost dates.
Determine how many plants you can grow by calculating the seed spacing with how many square feet of garden space is available.
