Recently we brought you on a field trip to Hawthorn Farm, where Alexia shared with us how she and her community are turning suburbia into a permaculture paradise. On that visit we also filmed her making a very easy recipe for garlic goat cheese spread. In this video we are going to share the step-by-step process.

Tips for Making This Recipe

This is a great recipe to feature your favorite flavors or use up bits of ingredients you have on hand. As you can see in the video, this is a true homesteading recipe. There are no specific measurements, Alexia just goes by feel. If you aren’t confident with cooking from scratch, garlic goat cheese is a great place to start!
